Mrinal Mandal
Mrinal Mandal is the Director of Chalchitra Academy. He is an alumnus of Government College of Art and Craft Calcutta. Mrinal has exhibited widely across India which includes his critically acclaimed solo show ‘Roots’, addressing the humanitarian and socio-political crisis of Junglemahal area.
Jayeti Banerjee
Jayeti Banerjee is a Designer and former teacher and one of the founding members of Chalchitra Academy. She has long been associated with art and fashion industry. She worked as a professional Tattwa artist and owned a popular boutique called ‘Prangan’ in South Kolkata
Bidhan Biswas
Sri Bidhan Biswas is a well known scholar on Bengal’s folk Art. He is an alumnus of Rabindra Bharati University and a plasticising artist trying to revive the dying form of Alpana- the ritualistic floor painting of Bengal.
Prof. Sujata Tarafdar
Prof. Sujata Tarafdar prior to her retirement had taught at the Department of Physics, Jadavpur University. Prof. Tarafdar has widely travelled across the world and is a keen patron of indigenous art. She looks for patterns and beauty in Science and as well as in nature

Prof. Malabika Roy is presently the Head of Department of Economics, Jadavpur University.
Dr. Amrita Mondal
Dr. Amrita Mondal is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Basanti Devi College, Kolkata. She has been actively trying to engage with different forms of art and has been closely working with different communities to disseminate the creative knowledge.
Kaustabh Chakrabarty
Koustabh Chakrabarty is a writer, researcher and self taught practicing artist. An alumnus of Department of Comparative Literature, Jadavpur University, he has been closely involved with different art and culture projects. Koustabh believes that existence is a process of ever changing interconnectedness.
Subhra Chowdhury
Subhra Chowdhury is the Gallery Manager at Ganges Art Gallery, Kolkata. She has a substantial experience (more than 30 years) in ‘channel management’, networking, key-stakeholder relationship management in the field of business related to painting and installation-art. She also has an intense interest in cultivating works on different human faculties, ranging from literature, history, social science to performing arts.
Sayak Mitra
Sayak Mitra is a practicing Visual Artist currently based in the USA. An alumnus of Jadavpur University, his passion for art established him as one of the young popular artist-illustrator in Kolkata. He has been an in-house artist for the ABP group.

Rabindranath Dhar is a visual designer with vast experience in merchandise and book design. He has been working as Creative Manager of Ganges Art Gallery Kolkata

Upama is a alumnae of Kala Bhavana and a multi-disciplinary artist. She is presently teaching as an Assistant Professor of Painting at Sri Sri University, Odisha.
Sharmila Roy
Sharmila Roy has been an avid lover and appreciator of Arts , Music and Literature and also been a Freelance Science Journalist . She is also a translator of poems and short stories with few publications in Newspapers and Magazines.

Ankita is pursuing her undergraduate studies from Government College of Art and Craft. One of the youngest members of the Chalchitra family, Ankita is adept in woodwork and leather craft. She conducts training classes for the underprivileged.

Shashti Charan Ahir is a farmer by profession. He is the main facilitator and resource person from Khwaabgaon. He also excels in Kutam-Katam sculptures, carpentry and bamboo weaving.

Rishin Ketan Shaw is an alumnus of Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati and Faculty of Fine Arts, Hyderabad Central University. He is a trained sculptor and has been associated with several community based projects.
